Poonthanam
Jnanappana (Njanappana), a devotional poem in Malayalam by Poonthanam Namboothiri, the 16th-century poet devoted to Sri Guruvayurappan. The poem is one continuous hymn of 26 sections, each a group of verses on the impermanence of the world, the cycle of karma and rebirth, the rarity of human birth, and the power of the Lord's holy names. The hymn text is in Tamil, Malayalam and romanised English, and the meaning of each section is in the language of that edition.

இது பூந்தானம் இயற்றிய ஞானப்பான (நஞ்ஞானப்பான), குருவாயூரப்பனின் பக்தரான பதினாறாம் நூற்றாண்டு மலையாளக் கவிஞரின் பாடல். இது ஒரு தொடர்ச்சியான பாடல்; இருபத்தாறு பகுதிகளாக ஒரே பாடலாக வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியும் ஓர் கருத்தைப் பற்றிய பாடல்களின் தொகுப்பு: உலகின் நிலையின்மை, கர்மமும் மறுபிறப்பும், மனிதப் பிறவியின் அருமை, இறைநாமத்தின் சக்தி.
